The Perham Buzz Podcast is a podcast produced by Perham-Dent Community Relations Director Jason Groth. This podcast will provide updates on news, events, activities and other happenings inside the Perham-Dent School District.

Episode 6- The sixth installment of the Perham Buzz Podcast featured Heart of the Lakes Elementary Principal Mike Kunza and Perham-Dent Public Schools Superintendent Mitch Anderson. We discussed enrollment at Perham-Dent Public Schools, what it means to be an identified by the state for improvement at the Heart of the Lakes Elementary School. We also touch on the Ninja Anywhere event that’s set to take place at the Heart of the Lakes Elementary Schools.
Episode 5-The fifth installment of the Perham Buzz Podcast featured Perham-Dent Public Schools Superintendent Mitch Anderson as we recapped the ISD 549 School Board Meeting from Aug. 10 and Perham High School Principal Ehren Zimmerman as we chatted about the upcoming school year.
Episode 4-The fourth installment of the Perham Buzz Podcast featured new Heart of the Lakes Elementary School Principal Mike Kunza and new Prairie Wind Middle School Principal Jim Kennedy. They stopped by to talk about the upcoming school year, their path to becoming principal and much more.
Episode 3-The third installment of the Perham Buzz podcast featured Tiffany Tobkin and Christi Stoll of Empowering Kids. They stopped by to talk about the agreement between Perham-Dent Schools, Empowering Kids and Fenworks as they have partnered to bring Esports to Perham Schools. An informational meeting will take place on November 16 at the Perham High School Media Center at 5 p.m. with registration opening on Nov. 18 at perhamyellowjackets.com.
Episode 2-The second edition of the Perham Buzz Podcast featured Perham Volleyball head coach Nikki Bruns and Perham Football head coach Aron Velde. The second podcast was recorded on Aug. 31, 2021
Episode 1-For the very first podcast, Jason Groth is joined by Perham Activities Director Erin Anderson. They discuss a look back at the 2020-21 school year and a look ahead to the new school year. The podcast was recorded on August 16, which is the first day of the new activities season for the school year.

The Perham Buzz is a new venture put forth by the Perham-Dent School District, highlighting stories throughout the school district on its students, staff, community, important announcements, alumni updates, activities recaps and highlights and much more.
