The following is the second in a series on Independent School District 549 retirees for the 2023 school year.
Perham High School’s Mr. Fix-It, is hanging up the belt and retiring from Independent School District 549 after 13 years in the Maintenance Department. During the day, Terry Lehman can be found all over the Perham High School campus, either fixing different things, setting up events, mowing the lawn, or moving snow during the winter months.
Lehman received the Hiram Award from the Mason’s Lodge during his time with ISD 549. Lehman’s favorite memory from his time at Perham High School was the people he was able to work with during his 13 years.
Advice he gives to new and younger professionals coming on board is that time flies when you are having fun.
Lehman plans on hitting the lakes and pulling the convertible out of the garage during his retirement. Along with that, he plans on traveling around as well. Lehman said he is able to check one thing off of his bucket list as he rented a house boat on Crane Lake.
