On Thursday, April 4, Superintendent Mitch Anderson accepted the Leadership Award on behalf of the Perham High School Leadership Team. The award was given by the Perham Area Chamber of Commerce during their annual Chamber Choice Awards Banquet.
The Leadership Award is given to a person or group of people who have done an especially good job in leading the community on a project or an important issue. The nominees tend to be involved in organizations that help people or help in community projects, and they are highly generous with their leadership skills.
The Perham High School Leadership Team was nominated and chosen to receive the award for their work in completing the building projects for the district. After a couple years of designing the new school and completing construction, we finally call the new Perham High School facility home. It has allowed for new and innovative academic programs, like our student run business, Jacket Manufacturing, to better prepare students for future careers.
