Perham-Dent Public School District #549 is seeking qualified applicants for the position of Head Coach for the Girls’ Softball Program. The Head Coach is responsible for coordinating the entire Yellowjacket Softball Program at Perham-Dent Schools, which includes creating a learning environment where each student/athlete feels valued and sees skill improvement for self and team.
Additional qualifications include:
Three (3) years of coaching experience preferred—preferably as a head coach or varsity assistant.
The ability to connect, motivate and support participants and assistant coaches throughout the entire program.
Knowledge of fundamentals and skills in all levels of softball.
Strong communication and organizational skills.
The ability to manage, develop and implement all aspects of a Minnesota State High School League softball program.
The ability to collaborate with the entire Perham-Dent Activities Department coaches and advisors.
All coaching positions in the District are one-year notice of assignments.

Perham-Dent Public School District #549 is seeking a full-time K-12 Physical Education/Health/DAPE Instructor for the 2020-21 school year and beyond. Perham-Dent Public School District #549 is seeking a full-time Long-Term Substitute Special Education Teacher for the period August 26 through October 14, 2020, for Prairie Wind Middle School. The ideal candidate would be a dynamic and innovative team player who is committed to building relationships with students while personalizing the learning environment.
QUALIFICATIONS: Must have a Minnesota Teaching License.
JOB GOAL: Develops lesson plans, conducts classroom instruction, evaluates and assesses both instructional material and student performance, meets with parents and guardians, interprets student progress and informs parents and guardians about student strengths, weaknesses and programs.

Perham-Dent Public School District #549 is seeking a 1.0 FTE 7th Grade Math Teacher – Full-time position at Prairie Wind Middle School for the 2020-21 school year.
Qualifications Required: A Minnesota teaching license in Mathematics with the ability to teach Pre-Algebra in Grade 7.
Duties: The successful candidate will collaborate with the entire Middle School Math Department. He/she will support our building culture and have the ability to differentiate to meet the needs of all students.

Perham-Dent ISD #549 is seeking to hire a full-time EBD teacher for the Perham High School starting the Fall of 2020.
1. Valid Minnesota Teacher Certificate

The EBD teacher will need to be able to build academic programming to support differentiated needs of students. This position requires the ability to build positive relationships with students, parents, certified teaching staff and outside agencies to help better support student needs. It is essential that the EBD teacher be able to meet the demands that come with being a Special Education Instructor in the public school setting.
Starting Salary Range: Per Teacher Master Agreement
