Minnesota School Immunization Law requires all students enrolled in grades kindergarten through 12 to show they have received immunizations or an exemption.
Please keep your child home from school if he or she has any of the following:
Student needs to have temperature below 100.0 without fever reducing medications for 24 hours before returning to school.
Keep child home for 24 hours after last episode.
Check with healthcare provider before sending your child to school.
Please notify the health office. If throat culture has been done, please keep your child home until results are back or until child has received antibiotics for 24 hours.
Please keep your child home if he/ she has live lice until head has been treated. It’s very important to treat the environment as well as remove nits(eggs) on a daily basis until gone. Notify the health office if your child has been treated for lice. It is recommended to check all family members on a regular basis for head lice.
Parents may request that the school district administer medication to their child or allow self-administration when it is necessary for the medication to be administered during the school day.
