Math Masters is a program that challenges students in grades 5 and 6 to use critical thinking skills and problem-solving abilities in mathematics, while recognizing academic effort and achievement (mathmastersmn.org). There are a number of competitions around the state, and over 3000 students compete state-wide. Top state scorers are recognized during the summer at a Minnesota Twins game.
